Irma a 20 ans et des poussières, une voix superbe, des origines camerounaises et un joli culot qui teinte sa pop-folk d’une fraîcheur hors du commun. Elle arrive à Paris en 2003. Elle a 15 ans et se prend d’amour pour Ben Harper, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson... Alors elle chante leurs chansons dans sa chambrette, et publie ses vidéos sur Internet. Grâce au soutien des internautes, elle parvient à financer son premier album, comme une grande. Letter to the Lord est sorti en février 2011. Et depuis, Irma sillonne l’Europe et séduit le monde entier.

Irma is barely 20 with a superb voice, Cameroonian origins and a lovely bit of cheek that makes for an unusually refreshing pop-folk. She arrived in Paris in 2003. She was 15 years old and completely taken by Ben Harper, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson... She sings their songs in her small bedroom, and publishes her videos on the Internet. Thanks to the online community’s support, she manages to finance her first album, like a grown-up. Letter to the Lord came out in February 2011. Ever since, Irma has been roaming Europe and charming the entire world.
