Attention événement ! Il s’agit de l’unique date Suisse après le Montreux Jazz 2011! Asa veut dire « faucon » en yoruba, langue de son pays d’origine, le Nigéria. Cette jeune artiste vole haut, entre folk jazzy et reggae engagé, avec cuivres, claviers, rythmes chaloupés… Elle s’est révélée au public avec un album à la beauté brute et multi-instrumentalisée, concocté avec un ami – son alter ego - de Lagos. Fin 2010, c’est l’explosion de succès avec Beautiful Imperfection, un deuxième album qui garde la même formule et se vend à plusieurs centaines de milliers d’exemplaires !

This young artist flies up high, between jazzy folk and engaged reggae, with brass instruments, keyboards and swaying rhythms... She revealed herself to the public with an album of brutal and multi-instrumentalized beauty, concocted with a friend- her alter ego- from Lagos.
